About The Position

The company is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to assist immediately in the repair, upkeep, and maintenance of APP’s machinery, plumbing, electrical wiring, and facilities.

Requirements

Strong commitment to good attendance and being on time as it is critical to meet production needs.
Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers
1 -3 years’ experience repairing and/or maintaining hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical industrial equipment or related industrial machinery.
Must be able to conceptualize, fabricate, and develop necessary equipment, and intricate systems.
Wear proper Personal Protection Equipment in work area at all time.
Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace.
In compliance with ITAR regulations, must be a US Citizen or US Person.
English (reading, writing, and verbal comprehension)
Must be able to work overtime when required to meet operational deadlines.
Intermediate to Advanced Computer Skills/Mathematics.
Experience in PLUMBING, ELECTRICAL, MECHANICAL REPAIR & TROUBLESHOOTING.

Responsibilities

Work safe and maintain an organized, lean work environment.
Troubleshoot electrical, industrial hydraulic, and pneumatic problems on industrial equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance as specified under supervision.
Examine, adjust, repair, and maintain machines/equipment.
Perform any other duties not mentioned above when instructed to do so by the department manager.
