About The Position

Eaton’s B-Line Division is currently seeking a Material Handler to join our team. As a Material Handler you will be responsible for the safe operation of various types of powered industrial trucks.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
Valid state issued driver’s license required.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. alone occasionally to frequently, and up to 100 lbs. with assistance occasionally by stooping, reaching, bending.
Ability to follow directions, work independently, and pay close attention to detail.
Work as part of a team having responsibility for assembling an entire product or component of a product.
Ability to reach, grasp and manipulate.
Ability to stand for the duration of the shift (eight to twelve hours) and perform repetitious tasks.
Requires PPE to include safety glasses, safety-toe shoes, ear protection, cut resistant sleeves, and any other PPE required by the position.

Nice To Haves

Strong Industrial product knowledge.
Forklift experience both stand up and sit down.
SAP knowledge

Responsibilities

Unloading and loading from Primaries and /or Industrial assembly and fabrication lines to keep flow of product smooth and efficient
Move raw material in a safe manner and dispose of scrap.
Operate forklifts.
Store, space, and deliver materials or products.
Stack pallets and arrange materials.
Palletize and secure material as needed.
Receive training on use of power truck and other powered material handling equipment (ex. walking crane or hoist).
Perform 5S & Continuous Improvement activities.
Additional duties as assigned.
