About The Position

OmniSource, a subsidiary, is seeking an Industrial Marketing Representative to procure scrap metal from industrial generators and dealers. This role involves developing and maintaining customer relationships, ensuring profitable accounts within established pricing guidelines, and identifying margin opportunities. The representative will also resolve customer service issues, complete paperwork by deadlines, and travel as needed to secure business. Other assigned tasks may also be part of the role.

Requirements

• Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous sales or scrap buying experience.
• Working knowledge of scrap pricing, material identification, costs, operations, and transportation.
• Ability to generate and qualify leads and close deals.
• Working knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Flexible schedule, as travel is required.
• Must have favorable results of credit checks, background checks, and other assessments.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with SAI is a plus.
