About The Position
This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Requirements
- One year of Industrial Maintenance experience within the last twelve months with same employer or was attending U.S. based technical school within the last twelve months.
- US based certification related to maintenance will be considered in lieu of industrial maintenance work experience.
- Must be willing to work overtime and weekends if required.
- Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Nice To Haves
- Janitorial work and painting do not meet the industrial maintenance work experience.
Responsibilities
- Preventative maintenance and repair of equipment to maintain continuous production.
- Set up, adjust and break down production line machinery.
- Complete computerized training programs and use Tyson SAP software to document completion details of preventative maintenance routines as scheduled by the supervisor.
- Read and write where required.
- Use math as needed to make work related computations for machinery, fluid capacities, etc.
- Lift up to 50 lbs. on a daily basis.
- Stand for up to 12 hours.
- Complete all required training for the job.
