Requirements

Minimum of three (3) years Industrial Maintenance experience required.
High school diploma or equivalent required.

Nice To Haves

Prior knowledge of green sand foundry practices, principles and equipment preferred.
Industrial Maintenance courses/journeyman preferred.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, maintain and repair foundry related systems and equipment.
Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
Ensure all work areas remain clean and free of safety hazards
Performs preventive maintenance in accordance with required program.
Operates a variety of standard hand tools and power tools (drills, lathes, grinders, saws, etc.) and other related equipment (welding) to make necessary repairs.
Install machinery and electrical systems to support a variety of foundry related equipment.
Read and understand schematics, blueprints, manuals, etc. to perform required work.
Required to inspect the premises regularly, conduct routine maintenance, perform repairs when necessary.
Document and maintain records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs
Comply with all safety and PPE requirements as identified in plant protocols.
May be assigned other duties as needed.
