About The Position

This role is for an Industrial Maintenance Technologist in Food Processing, responsible for ensuring the uptime and reliability of high-speed food production lines. The position operates on the 3rd shift, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a 3-4-4-3 schedule. The technologist will be the primary responder to equipment issues, diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic problems, including Allen Bradley PLC troubleshooting and working with electrical systems up to 480V. A key part of the role involves executing preventative maintenance to ensure equipment stability and availability for subsequent shifts.

Requirements

• 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proven mechanical, hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting ability
• Hands-on experience maintaining and rebuilding industrial manufacturing equipment
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs and best practices
• Comfort working with electrical systems up to 480V
• Allen Bradley PLC electrical troubleshooting experience
• Strong fault-finding instincts and problem-solving skills
• Authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and maintain mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems across high-speed food production lines
• Perform Allen Bradley PLC troubleshooting to resolve controls-related issues
• Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics to diagnose faults
• Repair or replace AC/DC motors and VFDs; align and calibrate as needed
• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair bottlers, fillers, labellers, conveyors, palletizers and robo-packers
• Carry out preventative maintenance to maximize reliability and line availability
• Complete light welding and fabrication tasks
• Respond rapidly to breakdowns, collaborating with production to minimize downtime
