About The Position

The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair activities on manufacturing equipment and facility systems. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, a solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The technician will ensure the optimal functioning of machinery and contribute to a safe and efficient work environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Basic computer skills for maintenance tracking systems.
• Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification upon hire.
• Ability to sit, stand, and operate equipment for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Frequent turning, twisting, and reaching.
• Ability to work in confined spaces or at heights when necessary.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures (warehouse/production environment).
• Regularly exposed to machinery, noise, and moving equipment.
• Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toe shoes.

Nice To Haves

• Technical certification or associate degree preferred.
• Knowledge of PLCs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Operate maintenance tracking systems.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety procedures and using PPE.
• Work in confined spaces or at heights when necessary.
• Adapt to varying temperatures in the warehouse/production environment.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests.
