About The Position

The Industrial Maintenance Technician ensures all equipment in the facility is well-maintained, safe, and operating efficiently daily. This role requires proficiency in Preventive Maintenance tasks and skills in Electrical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic, and Mechanical systems. The technician must be able to safely operate forklifts while following Versatex's Best Practices and SOPs.

Requirements

• Basic arithmetic proficiency.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Excellent attendance record during probation.
• Completion of the Maintenance Training Program.
• Must pass the Versatex Forklift Training Program.
• Computer proficiency for logging and ordering parts.
• Familiarity with lockout/tagout protocols.
• 2-year degree in electrical maintenance or 5 years in industrial maintenance.
• Strong skills in electrical, mechanical, plant, and machine maintenance.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Mandatory 480V electrical experience.
• Willing to work flexible shifts and overtime.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in manufacturing and industrial maintenance is ideal.
• Familiarity with man lifts, and scissor lifts (in-house training provided).

Responsibilities

• Regular and punctual attendance.
• Report issues to A+ Maintenance.
• Read and interpret safety rules and SOPs.
• Perform basic Preventive Maintenance (PM) tasks.
• Report machine/equipment issues.
• Follow OSHA and Versatex safety guidelines.
• Maintain “5S” standards.
• Care for tools and equipment.
• Collaborate with the team to develop skills.
• Report and address machine issues to prevent unsafe operations.
• Suggest cost-saving measures.
