About The Position

We are looking for a well-rounded Maintenance Technician to support our facility operations, material handling equipment, and refrigeration systems. This role is ideal for someone with a strong mechanical background who enjoys working on a variety of equipment including forklifts, building systems, and industrial machinery. Ammonia refrigeration experience is a plus, but we are also open to technicians with solid maintenance experience who are eager to learn and grow their refrigeration knowledge. This is a great opportunity for a technician who enjoys hands-on work, variety in their day-to-day responsibilities, and being part of a collaborative maintenance team.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of maintenance experience in industrial, warehouse, manufacturing, food processing, or related environments
  • Experience working on forklifts, MHE, or facility equipment preferred
  • Strong troubleshooting and preventative maintenance skills
  • Electrical experience including motors, relays, and VFDs preferred
  • Refrigeration experience (ammonia, Freon, or CO2) is a plus, but not required for candidates with a strong mechanical background
  • Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
  • Comfortable working in cold storage and industrial environments
  • Ability to work independently and support a variety of maintenance needs across the facility
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs. and work safely at heights when required

Nice To Haves

  • Ammonia refrigeration experience is a plus
  • Solid maintenance experience with eagerness to learn and grow refrigeration knowledge

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance on: Forklifts and material handling equipment (MHE), Building systems and facility infrastructure, Industrial machinery and production equipment, Refrigeration systems including ammonia, Freon, and/or CO2 systems
  • Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
  • Repair motors, conveyors, dock doors, wiring, pumps, and facility equipment
  • Complete welding and fabrication work as needed
  • Support refrigeration system inspections, testing, and general maintenance
  • Accurately complete work orders and document repairs in the CMMS system
  • Maintain a safe work environment while following company and regulatory safety standards
