About The Position

Rousselot in Dubuque, IA, is seeking a skilled full-time Industrial Maintenance Technician. This role involves proactively maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and automation systems. Responsibilities include installing electrical systems per national codes, programming and supporting various systems, and updating electrical schematics and documentation. The technician will conduct preventive and predictive maintenance, improve maintenance procedures, and document activities. Key aspects of the role include diagnosing mechanical issues, supporting automation technologies, prioritizing inventory management, adhering to GMP and food safety protocols, contributing to a strong food safety culture, and ensuring optimal equipment performance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalency.
  • 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, with electrical and mechanical focus.
  • Experience with industrial automation and controls, preferably Rockwell/Allen-Bradley systems.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to perform tasks like standing, walking, climbing, and crawling.
  • Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and around hazardous materials.
  • Skilled in reading schematics and using tools and equipment.
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime.
