About The Position

We are looking for an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. This position plays a critical role in keeping our injection molding equipment, production systems, and facility infrastructure operating safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate is a multi-craft maintenance professional with strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience with injection molding equipment. Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in plastics/injection molding manufacturing.
Strong multi-craft maintenance background with experience across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
Working knowledge of preventive maintenance programs.
Ability to work safely with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
Ability and willingness to obtain required safety and equipment certifications.
Hands-on experience troubleshooting injection molding machinery.

Nice To Haves

Journeyman industrial maintenance or comparable technical certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on injection molding machines and related production equipment.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues on injection molding presses, including clamp, injection, and ejector systems.
Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and automated systems by reviewing diagnostic screens, fault codes, PLC inputs/outputs, sensors, switches, and other control components.
Troubleshoot and maintain Cartesian robots, collaborative robots, end-of-arm tooling, and other automated equipment.
Maintain and troubleshoot hot runner systems, temperature controllers, mold temperature control units, pumps, valves, chillers, and water systems.
Troubleshoot facility systems including rotary screw air compressors, dryers, compressed-air distribution, and basic HVAC systems.
Diagnose and repair electrical systems, including 3-phase power, motor controls, VFDs, and low-voltage control circuits.
Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic valves, cylinders, fittings, and related components.
Perform general facility maintenance, including minor plumbing, lighting, doors, and building repairs.
Perform preventive maintenance according to established schedules and identify opportunities to improve PM effectiveness.
Use hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and other maintenance equipment.
Operate manual mills and lathes to fabricate or modify components for general repairs.
Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, equipment manuals, and technical documentation.
Complete work orders, PM documentation, and parts usage records accurately.
Respond to production downtime and prioritize repairs based on safety, production needs, and business impact.
