About The Position
Since 1905, The Fremont Company has been the Ketchup Experts, a family-owned company making the ketchup, sauces, and condiments families reach for every day. Every bottle starts on a production line, and every line needs a maintenance pro who keeps it moving. On third shift in Rockford, that pro is you. When a filler jams or a conveyor stops at 2 a.m., you're the one who gets the ketchup flowing again. You diagnose it, fix it, and keep production rolling. Requirements
- 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience (food or packaging a plus)
- Electrical, mechanical, and PLC troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read schematics and blueprints
- Confidence to work independently and make the call
- Your own tools

Responsibilities
- Keep fillers, cappers, labelers, conveyors, and kettles running at full speed
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC issues
- Get breakdowns fixed fast so the ketchup never stops
- Run preventive maintenance that stops problems before they start
- Find ways to make the line run better, not just keep it going
- Work safely every time with LOTO, GMP, and food safety standards
