About The Position
Steel Craft Technologies (SCT) is looking for an Industrial Maintenance Technician for its Belmont, MI, plant. The maintenance employee is responsible for addressing all facility and equipment maintenance issues. While candidates with experience are preferred, SCT is willing to train candidates with little to no experience who are eager to learn.
Requirements
- A basic familiarity with shop environments
- High school or equivalent education
- A valid driver's license
Nice To Haves
- 1-3 years of experience in a maintenance position or similar.
- A basic understanding of common shop maintenance requirements.
Responsibilities
- Perform all maintenance activities, whether preventative, scheduled or unscheduled.
- Maintain the maintenance schedule.
- Pursue facility and equipment improvement as appropriate.
- Perform equipment inspection.
- Follow all safety rules and report unsafe work conditions to management.
- Candidate must be willing to come in early and stay late as needed.
