About The Position

Requirements

Significant experience in operating production machines
Currently holds a journeyman machine repair card or the equivalent of 3-5 years direct machine maintenance experience
3-5 years practical hands-on experience in an industrial setting
Proficient with micrometers, calipers and indicators
Good mathematical skills
Deep understanding of high speed presses and safety protocols
Experience with high pressure hydraulics, pneumatics, and automated material handling
Good mechanical aptitude
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Able to read, interpret blueprints on manufacturing equipment
Interpret manuals and industrial standards
Must be willing to work 12-hour shifts and a rotating schedule
Must pass pre-employment physical, drug test and background check

Manufacturing and technology classes preferred (or equivalent experience)

Responsibilities

Diagnoses or troubleshoots machines or equipment to determine malfunction and need for adjustment or repair
Performs mechanical repairs and maintenance on various types of equipment
Keeps equipment running safely
Troubleshoots issues quickly
Partners with Production to hit daily targets
Lubricates and cleans parts
Installs, moves, sets-up and operates all types of equipment and machine tools
