Industrial Maintenance Technician - 2nd and 3rd Shift
About The Position
Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is a Fortune 500 company and a leader in the corrugated packaging industry. This role is for a Maintenance Technician at the PCA Box Plant located in Reading, PA. The position involves performing a variety of maintenance tasks, including diagnosing, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on plant equipment. Technicians work as part of a team to safely perform Preventive Maintenance Activities and respond to breakdown calls in a production environment. All Maintenance Technician positions are multicraft, and training is provided to develop these skills.
Requirements
- 2+ Years’ experience in successfully troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.
- Must be able to work 2nd or 3rd shift.
- Be Authorized to work in the US.
Nice To Haves
- A Technical Degree in the Mechanical or Electrical Trades is a plus.
- Experience in the Corrugated Packaging or Printing Industry is a plus.
Responsibilities

- Safely perform Preventive Maintenance Activities.
- Answer break down calls in a Production Environment.
