Industrial Maintenance Technician
About The Position
Mister Car Wash is a rapidly growing company in the car care industry, and we are looking for skilled technicians to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician I, you will be responsible for ensuring our car wash sites operate safely and efficiently. This is a hands-on role where you will apply your electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, plumbing, and pneumatic skills to maintain and repair industrial car wash equipment. You will diagnose and repair electrical systems, perform preventative maintenance, and respond to urgent repair needs to minimize downtime. This role involves travel to various sites within your market in a company-provided vehicle. You will also collaborate with regional teams on new installations and technology rollouts, build relationships with teammates, and take pride in maintaining operational locations. This position offers opportunities for technical growth through exposure to new equipment and technologies across multiple locations.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in industrial or production maintenance (breakdown experience preferred).
- Electrical experience, including exposure to 3-phase high-voltage systems, low-voltage systems, AC/DC electrical systems, control wiring, and powered equipment.
- Solid skills in at least four of the following areas: Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulics, Welding, Pneumatics, Plumbing.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and respond quickly in fast-paced environments.
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and on-call hours.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Physical capability to perform the job (lift up to 75 lbs., bend, crawl, and climb ladders).
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required upon hire).

- VFD and PLC troubleshooting experience.
Responsibilities
- Apply electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, plumbing, pneumatic, and troubleshooting skills to maintain equipment performance.
- Perform installation, preventative maintenance, and repairs on industrial car wash equipment.
- Diagnose and repair low- and high-voltage electrical systems, including control wiring and 3-phase power.
- Travel across the market in a company-provided vehicle to complete scheduled maintenance and respond to urgent repairs.
- Minimize downtime by responding quickly to breakdowns and equipment failures.
- Partner with regional teams on new equipment installations and technology rollouts.
- Build strong relationships with teammates.
- Maintain safe, efficient, and fully operational locations.
