About The Position

Pro Staffing Solutions, a division of Pro Mechanical Services Co., is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician. This role involves maintaining and repairing production equipment and machinery to minimize downtime. The technician will be responsible for electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, as well as controls and programming. A strong understanding of safety procedures, including LOTO and SDS, is required. The position also includes operating forklifts and overhead cranes, maintaining a clean work area, and documenting maintenance performed. Advanced duties may include diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical issues and training other employees.

Requirements

5+ years of proven experience in industrial maintenance.
Experience with controls and programming is required.
Certified/Licensed Industrial Maintenance Mechanic.
Basic computer skills.
OSHA 10 hours certified.
Mechanic and technical aptitude.
Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
PLC experience.
Electrical experience 120 + 480 volts.
Fanuc/CNC controls.
5+ years of manufacturing/maintenance experience.
Knowledge and familiarity with mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
Proven fabrication and welding experience.
Proven industrial maintenance experience.
History of strong problem solving and continuous improvements.
Able to identify and requisition replacement parts.
Strong attention to detail.
Willingness to learn new techniques, processes and procedures.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to work in a highly responsive manner and ensure production schedules are met.
Willingness to support maintenance activities on other shifts and on weekends as production schedules require.
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in written form, with operators, supervisors, and managers.
Ability to follow written work instructions.

Nice To Haves

Experience working in a steel fabrication setting would be a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform electrical, hydraulics, and pneumatics maintenance and repair.
Work with controls and programming.
Adhere to LOTO and SDS knowledge requirements.
Maintain equipment according to the Preventative Maintenance program.
Repair emergency/reactive repairs of production equipment and machinery minimizing downtime.
Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follow prescribed safety procedures.
Perform inspection of completed maintenance and document results.
Complete and maintain paperwork for maintenance performed.
Assist in other work areas as needed and directed by the department supervisor.
Operate Forklifts, overhead cranes, and other equipment as necessary.
Comply with all plant safety and environmental regulations and maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment.
Read and follow QWI and other work instructions necessary to properly assembly product.
Diagnose and repair mechanical problems, replace or repair parts to mechanical, electric, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
Train other employees.
