About The Position

Riverdale Mills Corporation is seeking experienced Industrial Maintenance Technicians to support our manufacturing operation in Northbridge, Massachusetts. We are interested in candidates with strong backgrounds in industrial electrical maintenance, mechanical maintenance, or a combination of both. Our facility operates large automated manufacturing machinery, CNC-controlled equipment, automated welding systems, wire processing equipment, motors, drives, controls, and related industrial systems. Candidates do not need experience in every discipline listed below. We are interested in experienced maintenance professionals with strong mechanical, electrical, or electromechanical skills who can troubleshoot industrial equipment and keep a manufacturing operation running reliably.

Requirements

  • Previous industrial maintenance experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong electrical, mechanical, or electromechanical troubleshooting ability.
  • Ability to systematically diagnose machinery and equipment problems.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Ability to safely use industrial maintenance tools and diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to read technical documentation appropriate to your discipline.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability.
  • Dependable attendance and ability to respond to production maintenance needs.
  • Commitment to safe work practices.
  • Take ownership of equipment problems, determine their root cause, and make reliable repairs rather than simply replacing parts.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial manufacturing machinery.
  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical equipment problems.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot motors, drives, sensors, switches, controls, and electrical systems.
  • Repair mechanical power transmission components, bearings, gearboxes, shafts, and related equipment.
  • Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Diagnose equipment failures and determine appropriate corrective action.
  • Assist with installation, modification, and improvement of manufacturing equipment.
  • Perform machinery alignment, adjustment, and component replacement.
  • Support automated production and welding machinery.
  • Read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals as applicable.
  • Work with production personnel to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Maintain appropriate maintenance records.
  • Follow established electrical, mechanical, and workplace safety procedures.
