About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on production and support equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime. This role involves mechanical, electrical, and fabrication tasks and requires a strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Maintenance Technology preferred, or HS Diploma with equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Experience using MPulse or other CMMS software, preferred.
  • Familiarity with industrial power transmission and support equipment are a plus.
  • Basic fabrication and welding skills are a plus.
  • Proficiency in basic work order, mechanical, and electrical maintenance tasks.
  • Valid forklift certification or demonstrated forklift operation experience.
  • Strong understanding of quality control and measurement tools.
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.
  • Excellent math and computer skills.
  • History of safe working behavior and practices.
  • Must own and maintain a personal set of hand tools.
  • Willingness to work flexible or alternate shifts based on production schedules.
  • Must be able to work at heights up to 60 feet.
  • Must be physically capable of lifting, bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
  • Work may require modified, or off-shift hours based on production needs.

Responsibilities

  • Always follow all established safety guidelines and best practices.
  • Properly dispose of waste materials in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance (PMs), repairs, and project-based work.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues across a variety of equipment.
  • Maintain, repair, and test power transmission equipment.
  • Disassemble and reassemble production and support equipment using appropriate tools.
  • Operate forklifts and other equipment to move and stage materials, adhering to pallet weight restrictions.
  • Work at heights up to 60 feet, including silo maintenance and elevated platforms.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Fabricates basic brackets, supports, and fixtures.
  • Use hand and power tools with confidence and safety.
  • Construct scaffolding and ladders for elevated tasks.
  • Accurately document all work (PMs, repairs, and projects) in the MPulse CMMS system.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and requisition materials for repairs and maintenance.
  • Recommend updates to CMMS equipment inventory, PM tasks, and reporting structures.
  • Assist in the design, upgrade, or modification of equipment with internal teams or outside contractors.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for improving maintenance processes and equipment reliability.
  • Seek out and execute maintenance tasks during planned or unplanned downtime.
  • Participate in 5S, housekeeping, and TPEM (Total Productive Equipment Management) activities.
