About The Position

REAL ALLOY is the market leader in third-party aluminum recycling and specification alloy production. Headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, we have 16 plants strategically located across the United States, Mexico, and Canada. We convert aluminum scrap and by-products into reusable aluminum metal for a growing number of applications across various industries. We are ideally positioned to respond to the needs of an increasingly recycling-conscious world. Advanced technologies enable us to process a large variety of scrap and dross and reduce the amount of residual waste from aluminum manufacturing that would otherwise end up as landfill. This isn't a desk job, it's hands on high impact work where what you fix today keeps the whole operation moving tomorrow. We need an Industrial Maintenance Technician that can work safely, diagnose problems fast, and who will take pride in a job done right.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• 3+ years of work experience in trade profession or industrial maintenance.
• Able to demonstrate strong proficiency in troubleshooting and maintenance activities.
• Valid electricians license preferred but not required.
• PLC experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid understanding of basic computer functions and office software applications.
• Flexibility to work overtime and be on-call as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Industrial electrical knowledge and experience with 110/220/480 preferred
• Valid electricians license preferred but not required.
• PLC experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Keep the plant running.
• Troubleshooting equipment problems
• Equipment installation
• Operate and repair mobile equipment including forklifts, man lifts, and skid steers
• Industrial electrical knowledge and experience with 110/220/480 preferred (not required)
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics
• Welding fabrication and weld repair - MIG and STIC
