About The Position

The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing industrial machinery and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. This full-time role requires a high degree of technical skill, independence, and adherence to safety standards. The technician will support production needs by responding promptly to equipment failures and participating in preventive maintenance programs.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of industrial maintenance or related experience.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
Working knowledge of industrial safety standards and procedures.
Welding skills (MIG, Stick) and cutting torch experience required.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team.
Professional, tactful, and respectful when working with others.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform hands-on work.

Nice To Haves

Experience with PLCs (programmable logic controllers) is a strong asset.
Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret diagrams, blueprints, and schematics to determine repair and installation procedures.
Install, maintain, and repair stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment using hand and power tools.
Inspect and troubleshoot machinery and equipment to identify irregularities, malfunctions, or potential issues.
Perform adjustments, repairs, or replacements of defective parts and components.
Test and verify that operating safety devices and equipment function properly after repairs, modifications, or installations.
Participate in and support the preventive maintenance (PM) program to ensure continuous equipment reliability and improvement.
Complete accurate maintenance logs, reports, and documentation.
Conduct routine tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and calibrating machinery.
Maintain a safe, clean, and environmentally compliant work area.
Follow all workplace safety policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Perform other maintenance-related duties as assigned.
