About The Position
Aegis is partnered with a leading manufacturing client in the Pelham, Alabama area seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician with a strong multi-craft background. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing advanced manufacturing equipment, including robotics and PLC-controlled systems, to ensure optimal production uptime and efficiency.
Requirements
- Strong multi-craft maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proven ability to troubleshoot electrical systems (480V, motors, drives, etc.)
- Experience working with PLCs (troubleshooting, basic programming preferred)
- Familiarity with industrial robotics systems
- Solid mechanical aptitude with experience in hydraulics and pneumatics
- Ability to work independently on 2nd shift
- Proficient in PLC Troubleshooting Skills
- Proficient in Equipment Troubleshooting

- Proficient in Electrical Troubleshooting Skills

- Technical degree or certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or related field
- Journeyman’s License
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and systems
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Diagnose and resolve issues with PLCs, robotics, and automated equipment
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Support production by minimizing downtime through quick and effective problem-solving
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement long-term corrective actions
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
