Industrial Maintenance Technician (Hydraulic/Pneumatic Systems)
About The Position
At our Tampa, FL (33610) manufacturing site, you’ll be the go-to pro keeping production humming. Your morning starts with walk-through inspections to spot wear, leaks, or safety risks. When a line calls out, you’ll diagnose the mechanical issue—whether it’s a pneumatic actuator, hydraulic pump, or an electrical component—and get the equipment safely back online. Between calls, you’ll update maintenance records, partner with operators to prevent repeat issues, and lend a hand installing and commissioning new machines. Every repair you make and every preventive task you complete keeps our lines moving, our teammates safe, and our customers satisfied. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and proven troubleshooting ability.
- Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems.
- Comfort reading technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
- Clear communicator with a collaborative, team-first mindset.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including overtime when needed.
Nice To Haves
- Technical training or certification is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Keep production equipment in top shape through routine maintenance and timely repairs.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical problems, implementing practical, lasting fixes.
- Perform inspections to catch potential failures and identify safety concerns early.
- Document all maintenance and repair activities with clear, accurate notes.
- Work closely with production to reduce downtime and boost line efficiency.
- Assist with the setup and installation of new machinery and related equipment.
- Champion safety practices and uphold a clean, orderly work area.
