About The Position

Mister Car Wash is a leading and fast-expanding car wash brand. As a Maintenance Technician I, you will be part of a team responsible for keeping car wash sites running safely and efficiently. This role involves hands-on work with industrial car wash equipment, offering opportunities for skill growth and development. You will contribute to delivering an excellent customer experience by ensuring equipment is well-maintained and operational.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in industrial or production maintenance (breakdown experience preferred)
• Foundational skills in at least four of the following areas: Electrical (3-phase, 480v), Mechanical (motors, conveyor systems), Hydraulics, Welding, Pneumatics, Plumbing
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask and respond quickly in fast-paced environments
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and on-call hours
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Physical capability to perform the job (lift up to 75 lbs., bend, crawl, and climb ladders)
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required upon hire)

Responsibilities

• Apply electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, plumbing, pneumatic, and troubleshooting skills to maintain industrial car wash equipment.
• Perform installation, preventative maintenance, and repairs on industrial car wash equipment.
• Diagnose and repair low- and high-voltage electrical systems, including control wiring and 3-phase power.
• Travel across the market in a company-provided vehicle to complete scheduled maintenance and respond to urgent repairs.
• Minimize downtime by responding quickly to breakdowns and equipment failures.
• Partner with regional teams on new equipment installations and technology rollouts.
• Build strong relationships with teammates.
• Maintain safe, efficient, and fully operational locations.
• Take advantage of travel opportunities to gain exposure to new equipment, emerging technology, and best practices across multiple locations.
