About The Position

The Fremont Company is seeking a hands-on Industrial Maintenance Technician for its Rockford, Ohio facility. This full-time role works second shift, from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and helps keep industrial production equipment operating safely and reliably. The technician performs preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoots equipment issues, and works with production team members to support efficient operations. Requirements

Previous industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
Electrical troubleshooting experience, including motors and controls.
Familiarity with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Ability to read electrical schematics and technical manuals.
A proactive approach to preventive maintenance.
Commitment to safety, reliability, and quality.
Dependability, ownership of work, and pride in doing a job well.

Nice To Haves

Experience in food or beverage manufacturing.
PLC troubleshooting experience.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair industrial production equipment.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
Maintain and repair conveyors, pumps, motors, filling equipment, and other machinery.
Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
Troubleshoot electrical controls, sensors, and PLC-related equipment.
Partner with production team members to keep operations safe and efficient.
Document maintenance activities and help identify opportunities for improvement.
Follow established safety, food safety, and maintenance procedures.
