About The Position

Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on all card personalization and fulfillment equipment, as well as all factory support equipment. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.

Requirements

  • Must physically be able to bend, stretch, and stoop.
  • Requires lifting of 40 lbs. or more without aid.
  • Requires normal hand, eye, and walking coordination.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
  • Must be available to work overtime and weekends as needed.
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
  • Requires a strong working knowledge of electronics and pneumatic systems.
  • Must possess the ability to read and understand electrical/pneumatic schematics.
  • Must possess the ability to diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems.
  • Must work well in a team environment.
  • Must have excellent communication skills.
  • Must be highly motivated and willing to learn new systems and technologies.
  • Must possess an excellent knowledge of basic hand tools.
  • Must possess strong mathematics and computer skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Completion of Electro/Mechanical Course from a recognized Technical Institute is preferred.
  • 3 - 5 year experience in general maintenance (multimeters, soldering stations, precision screwdrivers, rotary tools).

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair all card personalization and fulfillment equipment.
  • Diagnose malfunctions in electronic equipment, perform tests, and follow technical manuals to ensure proper functioning.
  • Fabricate replacement parts when necessary.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on all card personalization/fulfillment equipment and support equipment.
  • Work with machine operators to identify and resolve issues with setup and job files.
  • Work with IT to identify and resolve machine communications related issues.
  • Implement programs to increase OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).
  • Utilize KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to improve equipment uptime and decrease downtime.
  • Maintain detailed logs of repairs, tests, and inspections, and document processes for future reference.
  • Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of process controls.
