Responsible for performing routine and emergency repair duties following all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) processes, Quality Control guidelines, and safety procedures. Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
1+ year of relevant experience or the knowledge, skills, and abilities to succeed in the role
Some experience in metal fabrication, feed equipment mechanics, electrical wiring, and motors
Good reading, writing, and math skills
Ability to operate relevant equipment (i.e., forklift, tractor, shuttle wagon, etc.)
Detail-orientated with the ability to maintain accuracy in data entry
Ability to follow detailed instructions
Good communication, organization, time-management, and multi-tasking skills
Ability to work flexible hours and be on call as needed

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, keyboard, and occasionally lift up to 55 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

Performs all duties in a safe manner consistent with company policies and procedures and safety training.
Wears required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Maintains good housekeeping in assigned areas consistent with GMP.
Maintains accurate records, reports, and documentation.
Performs emergency repairs as needed.
Monitors and inspects equipment and machinery for mechanical soundness.
Makes necessary repairs and escalates complex issues.
Performs preventative maintenance.
Maintains and secures issued tools.
Reports any tools missing or damaged.
Attends meetings, including safety meetings and trainings.
