Industrial Maintenance Technician – Mechanical/Millwright
About The Position
Join Our Team as an Industrial Maintenance Technician – Mechanical/Millwright – Millport, AL. This role performs highly skilled mechanical maintenance tasks including installation, repairs, and maintenance of machinery and mechanical equipment. This may include, but not limited to, such equipment as motors, pneumatic, hydraulic and conveyor systems. In downtime situations, the technician must be able to analyze the cause of breakdowns and determine and carry out the necessary maintenance actions to return equipment to effective operating conditions. Responsibilities also include lubricating and cleaning parts, performing maintenance planning, layout work, and welding as required. The role requires adherence to safety lockout procedures, plant safety rules, and excellent housekeeping practices to maintain a clean work environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools and precision measuring and test instruments.
- Experienced in pneumatic, hydraulic, and conveyor systems.
- Excellent skills in root cause analysis.
- Skilled in all aspects of mechanical maintenance.
- Steady, documented work history.
- Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Good communication skills.
- Team oriented.
- Able to work independently as well as in a group.
- Willingness to work any shift, including weekends and holidays.
- Successful completion of post-offer background check, physical, and drug screen.
Nice To Haves
- Five (5) years of maintenance work experience and/or educational history.
Responsibilities
