About The Position

The Industrial Maintenance Technician III performs complex maintenance and troubleshooting on production and facility equipment to support safe, reliable, and efficient operations. This role applies advanced multi-trade knowledge to diagnose equipment issues, complete complex repairs, and make sound maintenance decisions with minimal guidance. The technician also serves as a technical resource for other maintenance team members, sharing knowledge and supporting the successful execution of maintenance activities.

Requirements

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written).
  • At least 2 years of experience performing maintenance across two or more maintenance trades or systems, such as mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, or piping.
  • Ability to work indoors/outdoors environments (heat, cold, dust, and noise) while performing physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing, bending, twisting, and working at heights (4 feet and above), with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience diagnosing and repairing complex or recurring equipment issues across multiple trades or systems.
  • Ability to support and guide other technicians during troubleshooting or repair activities.
  • Experience performing complex repairs, rebuilds, or precision maintenance tasks.
  • Working knowledge of reliability, root cause analysis, or continuous improvement practices.
  • Technical training, certifications, or trade school coursework relevant to industrial maintenance, or related military experience.

Responsibilities

  • Independently perform preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance across complex equipment and systems with little to no guidance.
  • Troubleshoot advanced mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues across multiple systems.
  • Use advanced hand tools, power tools, and precision maintenance equipment to complete repairs and rebuilds.
  • Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals.
  • Document completed work, findings, and corrective actions in maintenance computer systems.
  • Follow safety, lockout/tagout, and housekeeping standards to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Support other technicians by sharing technical knowledge and assisting with complex maintenance activities.
  • Work flexible schedules including overtime, weekends, holidays, or rotating shifts with advance notice.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
