About The Position

PLA Supply Chain Services is seeking a Maintenance III to be responsible for performing or overseeing all facility and equipment maintenance, repair, installation, and removal. This role involves performing preventive maintenance and repairs on a wide range of equipment, including SMETCO, Palmitic, forklifts, yard trucks, compressors, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, plumbing, lighting, heating and air conditioning, production equipment (nail and screw guns, electric motors, pneumatic and vacuum systems), buildings, and grounds. The position also includes maintaining machinery logs, ensuring forklift driver certifications are current, adhering to safety and environmental policies, and managing spare parts inventory.

Requirements

4+ years of experience.
Welding and electrical certifications or license.
Valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

Associate degree (2-year college or technical school).

Responsibilities

Perform or oversee all facility and equipment maintenance, repair, installation, and removal.
Perform preventive maintenance and repair on all equipment, including SMETCO, Palmitic, forklifts, yard trucks, compressors, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, plumbing, lighting, heating and air conditioners, production equipment such as nail and screw guns, electric motors, pneumatic and vacuum systems, buildings, and the grounds.
Maintain all logs related to the machinery.
Ensure all forklift drivers are certified and certifications are current.
Adhere to all safety and environmental policies and procedures.
Ensure all forklift driver’s maintenance and machine logs are current and accurate.
Maintain an inventory of spare parts.
