About The Position

The Industrial Maintenance Technician II performs preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance on production and facility equipment to support safe and reliable operations. This role works across one or more maintenance trades, troubleshoots routine equipment issues, and completes work with limited guidance.

Requirements

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
  • At least 1 year of experience working independently in one or two maintenance trades or components, such as mechanical, electrical, welding, lubrication, pumps, or hydraulics
  • Ability to work indoors/outdoors environments (heat, cold, dust, and noise) while performing physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing, bending, twisting, and working at heights (4 feet and above), with or without reasonable accommodation

Nice To Haves

  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving routine issues across multiple pieces of equipment, not just assigned tasks
  • Ability to apply maintenance skills across more than one area or system within the facility
  • Experience using maintenance systems to plan, document, and close work orders
  • Familiarity with safety practices such as lockout/tagout, job hazard analysis, and confined space awareness.
  • Technical training, certifications, or trade school coursework relevant to industrial maintenance, or related military experience

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance on production and facility equipment with limited direction
  • Troubleshoot routine mechanical, electrical, or system issues and escalate complex problems as needed
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and standard maintenance equipment to complete repairs safely and efficiently
  • Read and follow electrical or mechanical schematics, blueprints, manuals, and work instructions
  • Document completed work, findings, and parts usage in maintenance computer systems
  • Follow safety, lockout/tagout, and housekeeping standards to maintain a safe work environment
  • Work flexible schedules including overtime, weekends, holidays, or rotating shifts with advance notice
  • Perform other duties as assigned
