About The Position

The Industrial Maintenance Technician performs repairs, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance on production machinery, plant blow-mold equipment, and facility equipment. The role follows the company’s Good Manufacturing Practices and applicable corporate and plant safety standards. Duties may vary by plant based on equipment and plant design. The technician receives instructions for specific tasks from a Lead Industrial Maintenance Technician or Supervisor; unusual problems receive assistance, and work is reviewed for sound professional judgment. Other duties may be assigned by management.

Requirements

Basic mathematical skills.
Basic computer skills.
Basic knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
Excellent attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

Two or more years of maintenance experience, specifically in the manufacturing industry.
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
OSHA forklift certification.

Responsibilities

Comply with corporate and plant safety standards and applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agencies.
Install, adjust, and repair blow-mold, trimmer, palletizer, and related equipment.
Perform mold, neck tooling, pin, and other equipment changes.
Inspect and replace pneumatic and hydraulic hoses.
Inspect, rebuild, and replace valves and pumps.
Perform preventive maintenance on related equipment and maintain machines in optimal processing condition.
Weld, fabricate, and repair machines.
Troubleshoot, identify root problems, and repair blow-mold, bagging, and support equipment.
May operate blow-mold or injection machines.
Communicate frequently with other departments.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
