About The Position

As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for a variety of duties involved in the installation, alteration, maintenance, development and repair of plant machinery, equipment, facilities and structures. In addition, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing and maintaining a variety of mechanical, electrical and manufacturing equipment and machinery, including CNC machines. You will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on machines and equipment, identify and repair unsafe conditions and equipment, and take ownership of all service cases, projects, etc. and maintaining all technical documentation. You will learn engine lathe, milling machines, drill presses, grinders, alter or construct replacement parts, reconditioning production tooling. You will read and understand electrical diagrams and blueprints, and have knowledge of PLC’s, electronic and mechanical systems, and pneumatic and hydraulic systems. You will identify and resolve problems before they become costly and unmanageable. Welding, fabrication and machining are also part of the role. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Highschool Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
  • 2 years of industrial maintenance experience
  • Ability to read and process shop work orders and documentation
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
  • Able to work 8-hour shift.
  • Able to lift to 50 lbs.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Technical certification in industrial maintenance or associate degree
  • Journeyworker's certification
  • Working knowledge of repairing CNC equipment
  • Experience and training with facility electric (480 VAC/3 phase)
  • Able to read blueprints and schematics as well as all shop measuring tools
  • Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, motor circuits, PLC’s, VFD’s, AC/DC drives, HVAC, pipe fitting, industrial power presses, conveyor and lifts

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing and maintaining a variety of mechanical, electrical and manufacturing equipment and machinery, including CNC machines.

  • Reading and understanding electrical diagrams and blueprints.
  • Knowing PLC’s, electronic and mechanical systems.
  • Knowing pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Identifying and resolving problems before they become costly and unmanageable.
  • Welding, fabrication and machining.
  • Other duties as assigned.
