The Engineering Operator performs a full range of maintenance/engineering assignments using independent judgment to make decisions requiring the application of procedures and practices to specific situations. This role is responsible for repairing and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment, including motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines. The position involves dismantling devices, inspecting parts, adjusting functional parts, and installing special functional and structural parts. It also includes lubricating and cleaning parts, operating metalworking tools to make and repair parts, and requisitioning supplies and equipment. Additionally, the role involves repairing electrical equipment, performing bearing analysis and installation, welding, and performing preventive maintenance on critical systems like uninterruptible power supply systems, generators, and air compressors. The technician will also analyze electrical circuits, troubleshoot electrical circuits to the component level, and install, troubleshoot, repair, modify, calibrate, and adjust electrical/electronic system components and circuits used in measurement and control.
