About The Position

As a Maintenance Tech II, you will perform preventive, predictive, and routine maintenance tasks independently and alongside plant personnel. This role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment and supporting facility operations. The Maintenance Tech II is responsible for diagnosing issues, sourcing parts, and executing repairs efficiently to minimize downtime.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician, industrial and/or facilities maintenance.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with complex mechanical assemblies and measurements.
  • Understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical capabilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Basic computer skills to maintain records, work history, and inventory of parts.
  • Ability to utilize meters, gauges, and other test equipment to facilitate quality and timely repairs.
  • 3 years of maintenance experience preferred with exposure to electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
  • Hands-on experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems maintenance.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to use power tools safely and effectively.
  • Ability to identify components from drawings and work under direction.
  • Ability to replace components and perform basic troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, test, maintain, and repair electrical and electronic equipment.
  • Perform maintenance on hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems and components.
  • Troubleshoot and service variable speed AC and DC motor drives.
  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic equipment related to production and facility operations.
  • Use manuals, schematics, and diagrams to effectively troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Understand fluid power systems and troubleshoot/install valves, cylinders, motors, and pumps.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment using standard practices and procedures.
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas, tools, and equipment.
  • Follow all company safety guidelines, including PPE requirements and plant safety rules.
  • Uphold equipment safety and ethical standards.
