Requirements

  • 4-year technical degree preferred.
  • 7 + years of mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Aptitude with computer systems including email, database entry, and Microsoft Office.
  • Previous leadership experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with maintenance systems strongly preferred. e.g. SAP
  • Troubleshooting experience with PLC and mixing equipment preferred.
  • Siemens, Foxboro, and Rockwell operating systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for supervising, developing, and accountability of the maintenance hourly staff in a way that promotes the safety and reliability of the plant’s personnel, manufacturing systems, and utilities.
  • Primary responsibilities include ensuring compliance to local and international standards.
  • Lead, coach & develop plant team and talent management for the shopfloor.
  • Participate in daily meetings (ADOR/MDOR/PDOR); drive positive communication, give clear direction, and execute facility priorities.
  • Drive overall plant health through Preventive Maintenance (PM) compliance.
  • Prioritize equipment repairs in order of impact to regulatory, safety, and production.
  • Establish and maintain a work center safety program IAW Henkel and OSHA standards.
  • Evaluate the quality of maintenance, training, and personnel qualifications, track training requirements and ensure training documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Conduct On-the-Job training (OJT)/certifying as required.
  • Drive continuous improvement in Maintenance KPIs .
