About The Position

C&W Services is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Supervisor to lead and supervise a team of mechanical technicians performing industrial maintenance in manufacturing facilities. The role involves ensuring the team meets company and customer performance expectations, requiring strong computer skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook. This position is based in Wahpeton, ND, with a salary of up to $99K DOE.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in an industrial setting is required
  • Strong facilitation and computer skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional team environments is essential
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Policy understanding and enforcement
  • Deep knowledge of craft skills
  • OSHA certification, 10-hour required, 30-hour preferred

Responsibilities

  • Hold daily start up meeting with team
  • Hold daily toolbox talks with team
  • Delegate daily work assignments
  • Meet with customer contacts as required daily, weekly
  • Provide direction on work execution
  • Ensure accountability of team members in quality, safety, and engagement
  • Assist as needed in field
  • Conduct quality audits of jobs in field
  • Ensure all documentation is completed timely and correctly
  • Establish performance goals for team members
  • Recognize team accomplishments
  • Conduct employee performance reviews
  • Maintain documentation for any employee issues that arise
  • Escalate issues to account manager as required
  • Review and approve time-off requests
  • Appropriately schedule employee time off to ensure proper manpower levels
  • Inform employees of any denial of time off and explain reasoning to them
  • Maintain direct on-going communication with other company supervisors to ensure smooth workflow processes
  • Accept feedback from others, set goals to improve performance based upon this feedback
  • Inspires and motivates others to perform well
  • Exhibit objectivity and openness to others’ views
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by company and customer
