About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and safety-focused Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance on a variety of stationary and mobile equipment to support safe, reliable, and efficient operations. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, respond to equipment breakdowns, assist with equipment installations, and perform general facility maintenance and repairs. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, experience working with industrial equipment, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment while adhering to all safety standards and procedures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance, with a proven track record of innovation and creativity in maintenance solutions.
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality standards, ensuring all maintenance activities are carried out with precision and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues to achieve production targets.
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments.
  • Ability to stand, bend, and crouch for extended periods.

Responsibilities

  • Performing preventative and corrective maintenance on a variety of stationary and mobile equipment.
  • Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
  • Responding to equipment breakdowns.
  • Assisting with equipment installations.
  • Performing general facility maintenance and repairs.
  • Interpreting schematics, hydraulics, and pneumatic diagrams, as well as mechanical blueprints.
  • Bringing innovative solutions to maintenance challenges.
  • Welding and fabricating, utilizing cutting-edge technology to optimize maintenance processes.
  • Operating maintenance vehicles and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Performing three-phase and single-phase electrical repairs, including advanced troubleshooting and arc welding with stick and MIG abilities.
  • Independently troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical repairs using innovative problem-solving techniques.
  • Utilizing programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to optimize equipment performance and efficiency.
