About The Position

ISCO Industries, the industry leader in HDPE Fusion, is seeking a skilled Mechanic to join their team. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for ensuring machinery runs smoothly, a commitment to excellence, and a love for working with their hands. The Mechanic will be responsible for repairing and refurbishing fusion equipment in a distribution plant.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in maintenance or automotive repair preferred
• Diagnostic ability and Troubleshooting skills
• Commitment to quality
• Ability to meet deadlines, work flexible hours, and work in a team environment
• Interpret technical instructions
• Capability to use independent judgment and work both independently and, in a team setting.
• Basic computer skills

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience with computers for order entry, parts ordering and email is a plus
• Automotive experience is a plus
• Ability to utilize local vendors and/or vendor websites to locate required parts as needed

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain and repair fusion equipment including; small diesel/gas engines, generators, electrical circuits and hydraulic systems
• Perform quality inspections of rental fusion equipment prior to returning to service
• Maintain records of service, repairs and scheduled maintenance of rental fusion equipment
• Inspect and diagnose customer owned equipment to prepare repair quotes
• Communicate with maintenance coordinator and service advisors on status of down equipment and customer repairs
• Report machine defects, damages and malfunctions
• Repair and Service fabrication shop equipment as needed
• Prepare equipment for shipping
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Benefits

• Pay Range: $25 – $35 (Dependent on Experience)
