About The Position

This role is responsible for performing a variety of repair and maintenance tasks on industrial equipment, including trucks, trailers, cranes, loaders, forklifts, skid steers, and containers. The position requires the ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues, maintain preventative maintenance schedules, and manage parts inventory. The job also involves working in various weather conditions and adhering to safety regulations.

Requirements

• Welding and fabrication skills
• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours which may include nights and weekends
• Ability to perform truck and trailer repair
• Ability to perform emergency on the road repair
• Ability to diagnose and repair of crane/loader/forklift/skid steer/etc.
• Ability to perform repair and maintenance of containers
• Ability to work in all kinds of weather conditions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Possess a clear understanding and adherence to safety regulations
• Knowledge of hydraulics and hydraulic systems
• Be able to supply own basic tools

Responsibilities

• Perform truck and trailer repair
• Perform emergency on the road repair
• Diagnose and repair of crane/loader/forklift/skid steer/etc.
• Perform repair and maintenance of containers
• Maintain preventative maintenance schedules
• Maintain garage and maintenance area
• Order and maintain parts inventory
• Comply with Federal DOT inspections and record keeping
