About The Position

This role is responsible for providing maintenance and repairs to production equipment to ensure that production downtime is kept to a minimum. All activities must be performed according to corporate and plant safety standards.

Requirements

Minimum 3-5 years of mechanical plant maintenance experience required
Must be able to read, write, and speak English
Minimum high school education or equivalent
Basic understanding of electrical blueprint and schematic reading
Knowledge of 480v 3 phase/277v/110v/24v
Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems
Able to use a Multimeter
Working knowledge of three phase motors, programmable controls, circuits, computer interfaces, PLC’s, and VFD’s
Able to use tools including hand tools, powered tools, diagnostic tools, and computer programs
Basic computer and email skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including some Saturdays

Nice To Haves

Electrical plant experience a plus
Vocational school a plus
Experience within the glass industry a plus
Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
Able to operate a forklift

Testing and repairing water distribution and compressed air systems
