About The Position
Are you an experienced Maintenance Mechanic who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, solving mechanical problems, and keeping production running? Join our team and play a key role in maintaining the equipment that keeps our manufacturing operation operating safely and efficiently. Work a rotating 2-2-3 schedule with 12-hour shifts, giving you every other weekend off. Available shifts: 7:00 pm - 7:00 am (includes $2/hour shift premium) 7:00 am - 7:00 pm
Requirements
- At least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience, or equivalent experience through technical school, apprenticeship, or military training
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills in a manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of: Pneumatic systems, Hydraulic systems, Bearings, motors, gearboxes, and conveyors, Temperature and pressure controls/gauges
- Ability to diagnose equipment issues and perform repairs with minimal supervision
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, install, and maintain industrial manufacturing equipment
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime
- Repair or replace mechanical components, including motors, conveyors, pumps, valves, and production equipment
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, manuals, and equipment documentation
- Assist with production changeovers, equipment setups, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Dismantle, rebuild, and modify equipment as needed to support plant operations
- Follow all safety procedures and preventive maintenance schedules
