About The Position

Join us as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic in our San Jose, CA plant. You'll collaborate with an upbeat, hard-working, and diverse team to keep our plant running smoothly, and continuously improve our machinery and maintenance department! The shift for this position is 6 pm to 6:30 am with a starting rate of $34.05-$40.93 per hour. The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic will be performing routine maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery and equipment. At Kellanova, we encourage collaboration with other team members to keep production lines running smoothly. In this role you will acquire proficiency in specialized equipment and automation systems, all while having the chance to pursue certifications or additional training to further enhance your skills.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Effective communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
Ability to sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs and complete repetitive tasks throughout the day
Experience with troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment in a manufacturing setting

Responsibilities

Perform basic troubleshooting, repairs and preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment
Manage machine performance by doing equipment set-up and change-overs
Facilitate production and quickly respond to equipment breakdowns
Understand, follow and enforce all established guidelines
Ensure compliance with all safety, health, quality and company policies, procedures and recognized practices
