Industrial Maintenance Mechanic
About The Position
The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic will shadow the Industrial Maintenance Technician I and II roles to learn how to perform repairs, preventative and corrective maintenance on production machinery, plant blow mold equipment and facility. Receives instructions on specific job task by Industrial Maintenance Technician I & II, and Lead Industrial Maintenance Technician or Supervisor. Assistance is furnished on unusual problems and work is reviewed for application of sound professional judgment. Duties may differentiate by plant based on equipment and plant design. Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.
Requirements
- Basic mathematical skills are required.
- Basic computer experience.
- May require a current OSHA forklift certification.
- Completion of Altium Industrial Maintenance Technician I training.
Nice To Haves
- Prefer High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
