About The Position

International Paper is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to perform preventative maintenance, inspections, lubrication, and minor repairs. This role involves supporting the troubleshooting and repair of various industrial equipment, including corrugators, die cutters, and conveyors. The mechanic will also assist with electrical tasks, boiler operations, and ensure regulatory compliance. The position requires meeting physical demands and working safely in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, lubrication, and minor repairs; document work in CMMS.
• Support troubleshooting and repair of corrugators, die cutters, conveyors, and related equipment.
• Assist with electrical tasks including motors, sensors, switches, safety devices, and basic PLC diagnostics; follow LOTO procedures.
• Support boiler operations, inspections, water sampling, and regulatory compliance.
• Obtain MN Special Class Boiler License (90 days) and 2B License (within 2 years).
• Meet physical requirements (lift 50 lbs; standing, bending, climbing) and work safely in an industrial environment using required PPE.
