From troubleshooting to precision repairs, your work ensures safe, reliable production across our mill. Champion the CMC Safety Programs; model safe behaviors and wear all required PPE. Diagnose root causes in mechanical and electro-mechanical systems using test equipment, hand tools, and your technical judgement. Execute, document, and close work orders using the SAP maintenance module; account for time, parts, and corrective actions. Interpret and apply mechanical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Select proper grades and sizes of bolts, pipe/tube, cable, and conductors. Inspect equipment, identify defects, and safely remove/replace components using hoists, overhead cranes, and power/hand tools. Leverage knowledge of bearings, power transmission, hydraulics/pneumatics, lubrication, welding, rigging, overhead cranes, gearboxes, and mobile equipment. Prepare clear maintenance reports, summarizing findings, trends, and recommendations. Consistently deliver quality workmanship and dependable completion of tasks. Schedule & Environment Rotating shifts that include weekends and holidays. Work at heights and in hot/cold conditions with extended standing, walking, and bending. What You Bring High School Diploma or GED (required). Minimum 5 years of field experience in heavy industrial operations and/or manufacturing (required). Experience with welding, cutting, fabrication, and equipment maintenance (preferred); 5+ years in these areas is ideal. Skill with precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, dial indicators). Strong attendance, flexibility, and follow-through.
