The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic primary function is Makes repairs to all machines Uses all types of machine shop machines (Power Presses & Fabricating Equipment) Fabricates and installs safety guards on machines Die set up in power presses Assists with large production jobs Designs and builds a die from a part print or sample part Troubleshoots production tooling/dies and makes necessary repairs Designs and builds machine tools, cutting tools and other tools used for manufacturing Works on prototypes for Engineering Department Form grinding Checks tooling and responsible for supplying measurements to Engineering Department Sets up dies Works with Power Presses

Requirements

  • Math skills
  • Ability to operate material handling and tools required to perform tasks.
  • Must be flexible – OT and weekend are required as needed.
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
