About The Position

Join a leading manufacturer in the Salt Lake City, UT area as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic focused on automation and controls. A Day in the Life You’ll keep high-volume production equipment running safely and efficiently by: Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues across diverse production machinery. Troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic circuits and restoring optimal performance. Working with 460V systems as well as single- and three-phase power to resolve electrical faults. Executing preventive and predictive maintenance to boost reliability and throughput. Using PLCs for troubleshooting and making minor logic/program adjustments. Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs). Reading and interpreting blueprints, electrical schematics, and OEM manuals. Using hand tools, power tools, and precision measurement instruments safely and effectively. Completing work orders and maintenance documentation with accuracy and timeliness. Partnering with production and leadership to reduce downtime and enhance performance.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a large manufacturing plant.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting capability.
  • Hands-on experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, VFDs, and 460V wiring.
  • Ability to interpret technical documents, prints, and schematics.
  • Commitment to safety and a clean, organized workspace.
  • Self-starter mindset with strong teamwork and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Diploma/certificate in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, or related field (preferred).
