A day in the role When your shift starts, you’ll walk the production floor—past mixers, ovens, and high-speed lines—listening for anything out of tune. You’ll verify last night’s repairs, check conveyors for wear, and run through preventive tasks to keep uptime high. When a motor trips or a control circuit acts up, you’ll diagnose fast, swap bearings or motors as needed, confirm the fix, and get the line back to peak efficiency. Between calls, you’ll review schematics and manuals, lend a hand on equipment installs and commissioning, and look for continuous improvement opportunities that keep the plant safe, stable, and productive.
