About The Position
Skillforce is hiring experienced Industrial Maintenance Electricians for a contract to hire role in McDonough, GA. As an Industrial Maintenance Electrician you are responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical, instrumentation, and production equipment in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment producing corrugated materials. Pay: $35/hour-$40/hour, based on experience. Schedule Monday-Friday 5 days per week Must be available to work day or night shifts depending upon business needs.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Electrical controls
- Three-phase motors
- Switches, sensors, and related industrial electrical systems
- Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and either day or night shift.
Nice To Haves
- Corrugated material manufacturing experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical and instrumentation systems on industrial production equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment used in corrugated materials manufacturing.
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical controls and PLC systems.
- Rebuild and replace failed equipment components.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all safety procedures.
